- Nutrition - Choose wisely, use portion control.
A healthy diet is essential in the prevention and treatment of disease. |

- Exercise - 30-60 minutes per day. At least 5 days each week.
Exercise increases strength and boosts the immune system.

W |
- Water - Drink, Drink, Drink! At least 8 glasses each day.
Water helps to rid our bodies of toxins.

S |
- Sunshine - 10 minutes will provide your Vitamin D.
It is the best source.

T |
- Temperance - Avoid harmful foods, beverages, and
unhealthy activities totally. Use moderation in consuming good things.

A |
- Air -
If possible exercise in fresh air. Sleep with windows open.

R |
- Rest - 7-8 hours nightly. God has given us one day in seven to rest.

T |
- Trust in Divine Power - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13

There is a wealth of information "out there" to help each of us make healthy choices and minimize our risks for so many diseases. With a little effort, each of us can improve our health dramatically.
Educate yourself - read labels. Learn what an appropriate portion is. Learn about ingredients to avoid.
Your tastebuds CAN adapt to new flavors! You might be surprised - try it!
Eating whole foods as grown and making them the larger serving on your plate. They provide an abundance of minerals and vitamins with minimal fat.
There is no one "perfect food." Choose a wide variety of whole grains, legumes, vegetables, fruits and nuts in order to supply the essential nutrients in promoting good health.
YOU can be healthy by "choice", not by "chance."
